Synopsis:

Life isn’t about tomorrow ~ Life is about today
After losing her husband to a sudden heart attack, Tess Mathews escapes to Bora Bora to lay her husband and sorrow to rest. What she doesn’t expect is a new beginning.
Tom Clemmins is an A-list actor whose life revolves around work and an onslaught of women. He travels to Bora Bora for a much-needed break. Tom has a few ideas of how he’ll enjoy his vacation, but love isn’t one of them. Until he sees Tess.
Reserving a private shark-feeding excursion to scatter her husband’s ashes into the lagoon, Tess is furious when Mr. Hollywood bribes his way onto the boat, leaving her no other choice but to share the boat ride.
Tess is torn between tremendous guilt and zealous lust when their boat ride turns into a week full of romance and desire neither thought imaginable. Utterly smitten with a woman for the first time in his life, Tom casts his commitment phobia aside and whisks Tess off to Malibu where he introduces her as his “girlfriend” on the red carpet.
As the paparazzi besiege, can Tess survive the media blitz that ensues in order to find her second chance at love?

Tom’s tongue drifted down her neck and back to her lips, playing slowly with her tongue. The warmth of his sweet mouth tasted so good that she instantaneously began to kiss him back. She had suppressed her need to feel desire for a man, hidden the longing of a man’s hands on her flesh and buried her cravings in sleepless nights full of tears.
Taking pleasure in the heat of his mouth, she began to shake uncontrollably. All of her emotions came rushing to the surface, covering her in a tingling sensation. His fingers threaded through her hair and cradled her face with his thumbs. Teasing her, he plunged his tongue deeper, sending pulsating waves rippling through her very core. Craving more, she wrapped her arms around his neck and molded her body to his. Feeling his erection, she urgently thrust her hips forward searching for more. Her heart hammered violently in her chest as her fingers twisted through his dark hair. Tess pressed forward taking his mouth with hot, wet, indecent kisses, savoring the flavor of his lips.
He eased back and placed his palm over her pounding heart. “Easy,” he whispered with a smoldering laugh. Both chuckled as she buried her face in his chest.
Tom led her away from the beach up into the palm trees. The darkness concealed a bungalow tucked between lush foliage and palm trees.
Holy crap! Is this for us?” Tess gasped.
Yes.”
It’s beautiful,” Were the only words she could utter before he drew her into his arms, kissing her fervently, keeping up with her hungry lips.
Standing under the starlit sky, he slid his hands down the small of her back, following the curve of her ass, grasping it with the perfect amount of tension. Tess softly moaned aloud, encouraging him to press himself firmly against her. He clutched her ribcage and brushed his thumb over the material covering her nipple, sending another set of ripples surging through her. “Oh, God,” she whimpered.
Making their way inside, Tess unbuttoned Tom’s shirt, exploring the details of his carved chest and stomach, letting her fingers play with the thin trail of dark hair leading into his jeans. Wanting to know the full extent of the force pressing against her hips, she unbuttoned his jeans with trembling fingers. Reaching in, she stroked the length of him and a low groan escaped his lips.
Nice.
He reached down, taking hold of both of her hands. “Trust me, Tess. Tonight is all about you.” Tom chuckled. “You can make it up to me tomorrow.”
I trust you,” she whispered under his lips.
He unzipped her dress, slipping it to the floor before laying her back onto the bed. Tom took his time, sliding his fingers from the hallow at the base of her neck to the center of her breasts, cupping one in his hand. His warm, wet tongue tickled her nipple. He fastened his mouth over the erect bud, taking it in and biting her tenderly before moving to the next.
Caressing her hips, Tom’s lips traveled down between her thighs. She hung her head over the edge of the bed as his talented tongue explored the soft folds of skin between her legs before sinking inside her. All of her worries faded away under the strokes of his tongue. Tess didn’t take long, peaking almost immediately. Tears stung the corners of her eyes as her release came again and again. Gasping for air, she opened her eyes and lifted her head to watch him.
Rising up onto the palms of his hands, he pressed his body on top of hers. Tess slipped her thumbs into the waistband of his jeans, pushing them down past his hips. Raising her legs around his waist, her hands took hold of his firm ass while her toes wriggled his jeans to his ankles. She smiled up at him as she tossed his jeans to the floor with her toes.
Tom drew her leg up around his hip. Seeking admittance, he nudged her gently.
In one swift move, she flipped him over onto his back. “Do you mind if I drive for minute?” she grinned. “I’m a little nervous.”
He let out a chuckle and quickly imitated her maneuver, pinning Tess to the bed. “I know it’s been a long time for you. I promise I’ll be nice, but I’ll last longer if I drive.”

EXCERPT
Tom and Tess strolled back to the guesthouse. As soon as the door shut behind them, Tom pressed his body tightly to hers, pinning her against the wall. His lips fastened around hers, stealing the breath from her lungs. He raised her arms above her head, holding her wrists tightly with one hand. The pleasure of it sent her pulse rocketing through her veins.
He released his grip on her wrists and fervidly tugged at her clothing. “Were you afraid you’d miss me today?” he whispered before bearing his mouth down over hers.
Caught up in the heat of his hungry lips, she couldn’t answer, but nodded yes. She gently stroked his face with her fingers and kissed him deeply in return. Tom buried his face in her neck and she could feel him trembling beneath her fingers. Moans climbed from her throat and he greedily took her cries of longing into his mouth.
His dark eyes locked on hers and he grasped her upper arms, holding her to the wall. “I want you,” came a possessive growl from deep within him. His words spoken so powerful, it was as if he were trying to tell her something.
To her own surprise, the strength of his intense desire, flooded her with a fierce wave of arousal. She vehemently gripped the hair at the nape of his neck. “Then take me.”
Glancing at the bed, she stretched her leg to the side, her toes searching for the bedside table for support.
We’re not going over there,” Tom flirted in a low rumble.
Clutching her firmly by the ribcage, he bent down taking hold of her nipple tenderly between his teeth and drawing it into the heat of his mouth. She balanced on her tippy toes as he squeezed firmly along the outside of her thigh, grabbing hold of her leg and drawing it up over his hip.
She fumbled blindly with the button of his jeans as his kisses became tender, brushing over her cheek, neck and throat. “I want you,” he whispered again, softly this time.
The gentleness of his voice made her tremble even more, making it nearly impossible of her to get his jeans off. “I’m trying.”
One brow bent into a touch of a frown as if she didn’t understand what he was trying to tell her. He reached down to help her with the fastening of his jeans. He nudged his hips forward and the hard length of him slid along the wetness of her skin, only teasing her with his ridge.
On the edge of peaking, she whimpered softly, “Please.”
He did it again and again, sliding against that one throbbing spot. Holding back, paying no attention to her pleads for more. “Not yet, Tess.” His deep sexy voice rumbled low in his chest.
Her fingers dug into his shoulders as she lifted her other leg around his hip, sinking onto him fully. Hot kisses trailed up her neck as he grabbed her ass. The strength of his hands and vigorous thrusts made her cry out with pleasure, securing her hands behind his neck for support.
Tess felt a connection with him like no other. Tom handled her tenderly, yet powerfully at the same time. How can this be? Oh God. He touches me just right and his mouth tastes so fucking good. I’ve never felt like this. I didn’t think it could be so good. Kiss him, Tess. Kiss him like you want to.
Letting go of her fears, guilt, and the sheer desire she’d been holding back, Tess planted her lips on his and kissed him with passion and hunger. Plunging her tongue deeper as she played with his, she ignited a new energy in him. The louder she moaned, the more dynamic he became, driving deeper into her very soul. A tear spilled down her cheek as she crested her peak again. Tom kissed her tenderly as his body convulsed and slumped heavily against her.

The twelve hour flight felt like it raced by in twelve minutes. The armrest acting as vital separation from John on the flight to Greece was now immediately hidden between the fully reclined leather seats. They both lay on their sides. Shayla snuggled as close as she could get with her arms tucked between them. John caught her hand, kissing each knuckle before taking her mouth in a fierce, insatiable kiss.
Neither spoke much, only low murmurs between dozens of erotic toe-curling kisses and heavy petting that nearly made her climax in her seat. Shayla didn’t want to sleep, but eventually dozed off, half-stretched across his lap.
A dim glow illuminated the plane’s interior, casting shadows over John’s slumbering face. Sleep relaxed the tiny muscles near his eyes, depicting his age more clearly. Unaware of how long she’d slept or where they were in route, Shayla dreaded the fact she was closer to Vegas. Wetness gathered between her cheek and the warm leather. She wiped her face and untangled herself from John, climbing over him carefully so as not to disturb him.
“Where are you going?” he asked, his voice a strand of silk.
She bent, nuzzling his ear. “Be right back.”
He locked onto her wrist, blinking to adjust to the darkness. He examined her face, frowning with concern.
She smiled, carefully, and winked, easing out of his grip, hoping her sadness would be masked as fatigue from jet lag.
She escaped into the lavatory and locked the door. Glimpsing her shattered reflection in the mirror, she grabbed a hand towel from the stack and ran it under cold water. She held it to her puffy eyes, praying it would ease her pain.
“Shay?” he whispered at the door, knocking lightly.
She tossed the rag in the sink and opened the door. Unable to muster a smile, she merely stood there.
John maneuvered into the cramped quarters and she backed against the small granite countertop. Taking one look at her, he gave a sympathetic hum.
She folded her arms across her chest. “God. Please stop making that sound. It makes me feel even more pathetic. Seriously, I just need to pull myself together. Every time I get within a five-foot radius you, I’m either crying or coming.”
“I prefer the coming.” A flash of white crossed his somber face and he closed the small gap between them. “And don’t forget the laughing. Damn, I love your smile.”
“How long—”
“Shh,” he whispered into the curve of her neck, licking and nipping with his teeth. A smooth sensual groan crooned from her throat. “We’re not gonna talk. We’re not gonna discuss how long or tomorrow.” John lifted his elbow, bumping off the light switch.
“Hey, wait, I like seeing you.” Her complaint went unheard as he stripped off her shirt, devouring her shoulder.
“I want you to remember right now. Forever.” John shimmied her jeans to the ground and lifted her on the counter. He brought her hands to his face, brushing a kiss to the palm of her hand. “It’s just you and me, soaring a mile above any land mass. Nothing else matters, Shay. Nothing. I’ve never felt so connected to anyone as I feel with you.”

Quotes from Shayla’s Story
Life isn’t measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

“You’re the best workout I’ve ever had and we just barely made it through warm up.”
“Sometimes, at the precise moment, fate intercedes.”
John broke the kiss, biting her shoulder gently before easing her onto her stomach. He unclasped her bra and hooked his fingers through her black panties, nearly tearing the lace. “If I remember correctly, you rather liked this.”
His fingers spread wide on her back, spanning the narrow cage beneath her shoulder blades. She gasped a little as he gripped her firmly to the length of his body. “I’m more of a hands on kinda guy.”
"Sometimes the traits a man is missing can be just as crucial as the qualities he holds."
“You need some help? I could wash your hair, shave your legs, relieve a little tension?”
"I want you to know, you`re not a reason or a season, Shay. You are the woman of a lifetime. I know it will take a few days, but I`ll be waiting for your call."
John placed her hand over his heart. “Everything I am, everything I have, every breath I take, belongs to you.”
